Our Work

Patients and families across the country face many financial barriers when it comes to organ transplantation.  At a time when your loved one is most vulnerable physically, emotionally, and mentally, the last thing that a family should be worrying about is how they are going to afford quality care and transplant-related expenses.

For patients receiving a lifesaving transplant out-of-state, paying for housing and hotel stays is one of the largest and the most stressful expenses.

As Jeffrey’s sole caregivers, we experienced the difficulty of not living near your transplant center, and at times not being able to be with your loved one while they are hospitalized. When patients are facing severe health challenges, they desperately need support and a hand to hold at their bedside. Finances should never stand in the way of that support.

Jeffrey’s House provides financial support for temporary or long-term housing, meals, transportation, parking fees, and any other medical necessities while the patient is admitted to Stanford Health Care or a nearby transplant center in the Bay Area.

We want to make their stay as peaceful as possible and ensure that their needs are met and their voices are heard so they can focus on their loved ones, free from external stressors.

Jeffrey’s House is committed to bringing this project to life and supporting our fellow transplant community. We hope you embark on this journey with us to positively impact those in need.
